What is the best straightener?

What is the best straightener for my really really really really thick %26amp; curly hair? i do have a straightener but it takes a really long time for me to straighten it since its not that good. is there such thing as a straightener that makes your hair look smooth/soft?

Pick up a relaxer. It helps a lot with straightening hair. If your hair is still curly after treatment, you may have to use a hot comb/curler to get the straightness you want.
The Chi! It is worth the price, believe me! It leaves your hair very straight and shiny. It also doesn't damage it the way other straightening irons do. I will never buy another brand of iron again!

the GHD hair straighteners are the best but they are really expensive. maybe u should try a bed head straightener.
