What's the best straightener............(10 points)?

to make hair appear thinner.i have very thick, wavy hair and after iwash it,it gets very frizzy so i need a really good straightener.i don't want to get my hair thinned out so yea....i need a straightener that will make my hair appear thin.right now,im using vidal sasoon and it's awful! honestly,it's my first straightener so i have nothing to compare it to but it doesn't get rid of the frizzy hair,it doesn't straighten properly and yea............so what straightener do you recommend? i asked this question before and all the answers were either CHI or GHD but i've heard that T3 is also good so i don't know. What's the best straightener............(10 points)?
My advice for you is to not use any kind of straightner you can buy at a drugstore. Those are garbage, and probably won't work on your hair type as I speak from my own experience. You need a professional hair-straightner, girl. The best is an ionic one and the prices range anywhere from $60 to....a lot. The more you spend doesn't always mean the better it is.

Your best bet is to do what I did, get a friend who is a hair-stylist or make-up artist and go directly to a supplier to get one (those are the people who sell them to salons) You'll probably get it much cheaper that way, too. What's the best straightener............(10 points)?
I use Conair for everything because their products are really reliable and inexpensive. It works well for my hair and i have the same problem you do...the thick, wavy hair! lol its a pain right? Try straightening it and then putting ';Garnier Fructis brilliantine shine drops'; on the ends..you only need like the size of a dime. Add that to the ends and where it gets the biggest. (not too much tho you don't want it to look greasy)

**Remember when you straighten it to take small sections that will help because the iron can lay flatter and relay more heat to the hair. Good luck hun! you're not the only one :)
umm well my sis has SUPER thick hair and what she and i have found is that a flat iron with a 2' head straightens much better than a 1'. What we have is a bed head and its awesome i usually put it on 400 lol and it only takes like 1 min on one section! :)
i have super thick hair, and i use a CHI. it makes it more shiny, softer and seem thinner. it makes my hair look %26amp; feel healthier. it is an all around good straightner. deffinately worth the money
omg i had the same problem i bought this expensive brand i saw on tv and it didnt work sooo i bought this one its wet 2 straight by remington its like super cheap but such a good straighter and use got2b crazy sleek and wooh it protects your hair

good luck!!
