What is the best straightener?

I'm looking for a new straightener. One that doesn't damage hair and makes it really sleek and extremely straight. Any suggestions??What is the best straightener?
The straightener I got last year is the best I have every used. All of my friends have it too. It is called Coriollis, I got it at the mall, like one of those island-stand things. It works really well and you can straighten and curl your hair. What is the best straightener?
make sure that u get one that has solid ceramic plates.
do you mean a flat ron styling tool or a permanent chemical hair straightening?

Flat iron would be Farouk Systems flat irons, they are ionic, do not pull or pinch or burn hair. ceramic plates. well worth the cost.

Farouk Systems also makes a Transformation System that chemically straigtens hair. Also Quick Smooth that smooths it. I am a professional hairstylist in Texas. HTH
Ella Or chi
Chi
Use a professional one.
Chi is really good, they run around $100 though.I think its well worth your money.
Anything Revlon- Not totally expensive and very affective---Ulta has a wide selection of Revlon Straightners
chi it works great
CHI is worth every penny. It is important that you protect your hair prior to applying the heat to it. You can use the CHI silk infusion- just apply a dime size amount in your hand. It is not greasy or anything (you can ebay the big bottle). You can also try Farouk Biosilk Silk Therapy- also just use a dime size amount (ebay the big bottle). If you apply heat to your hair often weekly, make sure you deep condition your hair so it does not become damaged. Good luck!
The best straightening method is done in salons only and you will not have access to products unless you are a hair professional yourself.

It's a japanese methode called ';Thermal reconditionning';. It does also last 6 months and cost quite a bit considering the length and thickness of your mane.

Two brand names Yuko and Liscio.
I use a Revlon ceramic straightener. I don't know what the model is called, but it's slim and black with gold plates. It has heat levels (1-25) for all different hair types. My hair is really thick and frizzy, and the straightener makes my hair look really sleek and straight (I use level 20-25). It's pretty cheap, $20-$30 I think, and I've had it for 3 years and it still works like it did the first day I got it! They sell them at Target and lots of other places. Good luck!
A flat iron. I have very curly hair and I love my flat iron. Just get a good conditioner made for irons and get a good quality iron, like a Chi.
From my friends who use them, I'm told the ceramic ones work best. Myself, I prefer a big round brush and a good hairdryer. The brush I like is ceramic and made by Prego. It gets nice and straight and shiny. Good luck!
I've tried everything and no luck. Tell me if you find something.
You have to go ';ionic';. It's expensive but it is worth it. I've seen the results first hand and it's very impressive.
I am not sure either . i would like to know though .
