Is the chi the best straightener out there?

So im wondering if the Chi is the best straightener. My dad got the Gvp for christmas and specifly told him that i wanted the chi but he got this one. I dont want the Gvp i want the Chi. I know alot of people say it has problems and stuff. But i think that thats because they dont know how to take care for it. My friend has had one since the summer i believe and hasnt had a problem with it. So im wonder if the chi is the best one out there. Thanks!!!Is the chi the best straightener out there?

Yeah, supposedly the chi is the best, but just be happy with what your dad got you, he is obviously trying. Give him some credit, it's christmas for pete's sake!

Why can't you be happy with any straightener? If it straightens your hair, then be happy. Don't ask for too much.
GHD is amazing mine is in bright pink with the rounded barrel it curls, crimps, straightens, everything you can think of. it heats up in like 30 seconds and id you leave it in a cold area that gets 40 degrees or lower it shuts its self down so moisture doesn't get in and when taken good care of last forever. It can be expensive though.
In my own opinion, I think the Chi flat iron is the best one out there. It straightens the hair and leaves it moist and silky. Even though its a little bit expensive its worth the money.
