What is the best straightener to buy?

I have a Remington Wet 2 Straight and it broke. I need a new straightener, but don't want to spend too much money, any suggestions? My hair is wavy. I also want one that does it quickly, but does a good job. Thanks for your help! What is the best straightener to buy?
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

=== Tips for buying professional hair appliances ===

Do NOT buy professional hair appliances from unauthorized places like amazom.com, eBay, Target, Walmart, etc. Because if you do, manufacturers will refuse to honor the warranty. Buy from licensed places like salon, licensed professional beauty stores like Folica.com, Ulta.com, West Coast Beauty Supply Inc. etcWhat is the best straightener to buy?
I own two CHI's, one red one and one purple one and they both are so so much better than all of my friend's straighteners. When ever they come over they always want to use it because it heats up fast and it is so easy to use.

I have wavy hair too and it takes about 5 minutes tops to straighten my hair in the morning. It may be over your budget a bit but it works so well and lasts forever!
well i use remington wet2straight too i just used it a little while ago and it works ok but yeah its kinda dum this is the one my sister has and it works nice

i recomend it . it works nice and makes your hair look nice%26amp; its cheap, youll find it at walmart or target or something not just here
The Paul Brown Hawaii, GHD, and Chi are the best, but expensive. Although, you can get a CHI for almost $80, which is cheap, compared to GHD and Paul Brown. It is worth it to get a good one, because the others can damage your hair more. The ones mentioned above have ceramic plates, that won't damage your hair, unless you straighten it like two or three times a day.
Well....Um...I'd strongly suggest a Chi....they are kinda expensive....around 200 dollars...BUT wait....i've had mine for about a year now, and it's still going STRONG, and they also have em' in pink...they're great.
I have a Maxius...I have had it for a little over 2 yrs. It works great. Its about $99.00. What I love about it...is it's heat and steam which makes it better for your hair and it makes it look silky straight.
