Chemicals are always a NO!!NO!!.Blow dry,use a flat iron or pressing comb or brush depending on the type of hair you have.the key is to make sure the hair is clean dry to the scalp and not oily,then apply heat and straighten.don't get it wet or apply to much oil,grease,moose,etc. to moisten hair.Best straightener?

The Chi, hands down!
Chi's are good, I had a Helen of Troy and I liked it, but it burnt out quick. For cheap ones, Revlon ones are good for the price.
whatever u do, dont get curioliss, i think that is how you spell it, :) ive returned it 3 times.....
