Well first of all, you cannot permanently straighten curly hair. One can put a perm thru it, and comb it thru, and that's a temporary fix to a long term problem..... one can however, cut naturally curly hair, to a more managable style,,,,and in between cuts use a good tamer product..... such as ';Frizz Eze'; Or another one comporable to that..... Curly hair ,,,,, ';Natural Curly Hair'; (Unless you have or can find a good stylist), is harder to cut and more difficult to work with, but it can be done, and it can look fantastic, and be very low maintaince, and attractive, and relatively problem free, when done correctly. First, of all find a good stylist who deals with ethic hair, then look in their style books for a style ';YOU'; like, (Not ONe She/He Likes),,,find a common ground,,,,cut and style that ';YOU'; can deal with, and take care of on your own.
Then just go for it. Just shut your eyes and go for it. YOu'll be glad you did. AND. Good Luck to you. What are the best straighteners for spanish curly hair?
Im puerto Rican and I have that crzzie hair thats not curly but no straight or wavy its jus a mess....I just purchased the Sedu for 129$ and I love it!!
Get the cheese...or Paul Mitchell...thoes are a little expencive...but the best on the line..they last forever...and work really good
You're best bet is to go to a salon and get a professional straightener/relaxer (the store brought stuff is worthless and will damage your hair).
OR-
If you don't want to use chemicals just yet - here are some products that work well at home:
*Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny smoothing treatment (I love this stuff - just found out about it!)
*Garnier Fructis - Smooth %26amp; Sleek (shampoo, conditioner and gloss) - good for maintenance
*John Frieda - Frizz Ease, Straight Ahead (shampoo, conditioner and gloss)
These would work well with your hair type.
