Why are GHD straighteners the best straighteners?

Many people say that GHD straighteners are the best straighteners!! Why is that?? Are they really that good? Why are GHD straighteners the best straighteners?
They must be.My wife swears by them. Theyre not cheap as well.

She left them at the in laws accidently and I had to hear about it until we went back. She cant live without them. Why are GHD straighteners the best straighteners?
well i dont know about the precise technology but they are i couldnt go back to using any other straighteners now. i know they are expensive but they are worth it not just because society tels us so, they really are! and you can use them to wave or curl your hair with so they are like two in one.
GHD ceramic straighteners are for use on all hair types. The most popular is the 1 inch ceramic plates, recommended for short medium or long hair. (If you have especially thick, Afro Caribbean or curly hair try the GHD salon styler.)

They are salon approved to straighten and smooth hair and create curls twirls or flicks

GHD's have a built in microprocessor that conducts heat fast and retains it too, to maintain instant long lasting results fast.

It also has infa red heat which protects your hair by sealing in the natural oils.

To answer your Q.. Yes they really are that good, definitely Worth the pennies... Go for it
NO WAY ive had 2 sets both broke 1st blew up and 2nd all the ceramic melted off do not buy
They are really good, but can burn, so be careful! I have the Wet 2 Straight ones (they were half price), and I really like them. Value at quarter the price!
When ceramic hair straighteners first became popular I was a college student so I tried various other (cheaper) brands in a bid to save money, but they were all crap. None of them made my hair poker straight and with most of them the ceramic stuff started to peel off the plates within a few months which meant that they 'tore' at my hair when I used them. Then I bought a GHD and discovered why they are considered the best! I only wish I had invested sooner! I've had mine about 4 years now and the ceramic plates are still perfect - they make even the frizziest hair straight and silky in no time. Also it's not that much money when you think about it, they last ages, and I easily spent the same amount on cheap straighteners and straightening products over the the years trying to get the same result. You can save about 20 or 30 quid by buying them online by the way! Check out www.hqhair.com
Yeah they are...don't own any...but they are lol. They're set at a extremely high temperature i think which helps them straighten hair more successfully. All i really know is my hairdresser swears by them so they must be good lol.
Without going into the manufacturers marketing, I can confirm that my wife (with thick wavy hair) and a friend (with VERY curly %26amp; frizzy blonde hair) both swear by GHD. Both have tried other brands (cheaper) and many different types of straightener.

There are hotter models, wider/slimmer models and better known brand names, but none of them compare to this high quality manufactured product.

I PERSONALLY think it's partly psycological! But the results do seem to be better %26amp; last longer for some reason.

And like Raj P - they won't shut up about how good they are!!
because society tells us so
