The answer is: No Chi is the best straightener. If you want a Chi for the name %26amp; flashy designs, my best advice is to look for quality %26amp; performance instead. Chi's have become mass produced, overpriced %26amp; are now of very poor quality. I work in the salon industry %26amp; nobody in my 82 person salon would go near one of these anymore... not since several shorted out %26amp; caused fires. Babyliss Pro %26amp; GHD are your best bets. They'll last a very long time, have temperature control %26amp; do offer fun patterns/colors.
