My straightener just broke so I'm using a terrible conair one for the time being. But my birthday is coming up so I'd like to ask for one.
My hair is really thick and has a little wave. What can you reccomend? What is the best straightener for thick hair?
Hi,
I think that any quality iron will work. I personally use a ghd.
The important thing, really, is the technique you use. You have to be kinda systematic about straightening thin sections of hair one at a time. Then hold each section out straight for a few seconds after ironing it, so it's straight while it's cooling cuz that's when the hair sets (while it's cooling).
BTW, I like this site for good advice on straightening and managing thick wavy hair

I have an amazing straightener called WET 2 STRAIGHT. It works so good. I am actually using it right now. It is by remington.
GHD or Chi :)
I have The GHD straighteners and my hair goes really straight if i straighten it properly. I have thick hair also :)
