What is the best straightener for ';normal'; hair?

I have not thin-but not thick hair. I know that chi is not the best because i have used several of their kind. I have heard stuff about ';ionic'; and ';ceramic'; and ';nano'; technology. Which one gives the LEast damage?

And what is the best hat protectant?What is the best straightener for ';normal'; hair?
The GHD it's a english straightener like the CHI is american. The GHD is a ceramic iron that decreases damaged it can be found on beauty choice.com with many different colours and sets. it comes in three different widths a 1/2 inch for short hair (bobs, pixie cuts and many boys also use it) then their the 1 inch which is used for medium lenght hair and is probably the most recomended for any lenght and then theirs the 1 1/2 inch for thick hair thats hard to manage so that one would increase more damage on normal hair :)

Hope i helped :) xWhat is the best straightener for ';normal'; hair?
the CHI, but get the one inch digital. its new but you can set it to the temp you want. its amazing i use it all the time. but its around 100 dollars. it is the only brand of straightener that keeps my hair straight even if i pull it in a pony tail and then take it down.
any straightener can be good for normal hair as long as it has ADJUSTABLE HEAT SETTINGS :) this will make sure the temp doesnt get hotter than you want it

ceramic = good for less frizz

tourmaline = good for less damage

ionic = shine, i believe

nano = just a fancy word to make it sound good
