What are the best straighteners?

I already have Babyliss pro 230 straighteners, but I want some new ones for Christmas, so which ones would you recommend? I have thick, wavy hair, so I need straighteners with thick plates!

Hiya ,i also have thick hair and i have ghd hair straightners there great,my cousin is a hair dresser and she says that there still the best hair straightners out there so go on girl and get a pair you will wonder why you never bought a pair sooner,TRUST ME

ps well you can get 3 different sizes of plates ,i have the middle size and they are fine,mines are black in colour,im not sure what other ghd's you can get,i hope this helps you.
I had some pink Angelina ones and they were ok but this year my boyfriend brought me some GHDs and they are amazing. Love them and would never do without them now. I would def recommed them, they are great. Really straighten hair fantastic and you can curl your hair with them. A good protective plate on them to help hair. They are expensive but in my eyes well worth every penny!
I think there are some called Chi that the lady that cuts my hair uses and they work really well. They're really nice and I think they're a little expensive, but I guess you won't be paying for it.
Ive also got thick wavy hair and find using a Ghd IV styler with medium sized plates effective. They cost 拢135 and come in a choice of three coulours dark black, white or pink
I have the same kind of hair, and i use the conair one with the comb on it. I love it so much, and its only like 20 dollars.
i use a bed head. i leave in hawaii and my hair should poof-up because of the weather but it never ever does. hope you'll try it. good luck finding a straightener[:
Go on the GHD website and look at the different sizes. If you have thick hair, you need the thick plates. they cost over 拢100 but so worth it!
GHDS!! the thick plated ones if you have thick hair go in a salon and ask they will have some!! deffo ghds thouh i have some you setiously cant get any better than that!!
GHD they bring out new ones every year so it doesnt matter

ghd's r crap u cant turn the heat up or down on them they are just set to 1 heat, FHI's are realy good.
