Whats the best straightener?

what kind of straightener to you use? i have REALLY curly hair, and cant find a straightener that will really straighten my hair(i dont think my yahoo answers profile picture thing is working, so you cant see how my hair looks when its straight......not that good)

ANYWAY what kind do you use?Whats the best straightener?
I use a Sedu and it's by far the most amazing straightener I've ever used.

.I have really coarse, thick hair that is pretty much impossible to manage. I used to own a Conair which just fried my hair. But with the Sedu, my hair has improved leaving it shinier, softer, and healthier.

Sedu straighteners have tourmaline, titanium, and ceramic plates which are all components designed to give you hydrated, shiny hair. tourmaline is a moisture attractor which will lock the moisture in your hair. Titanium gives your plate a even heating.

An alternative is the Ozon hair straightener.. my friend owns that and it works just as well as the Sedu. Both straighteners do not pull your hair.

Don't go with the CHI.. that has no temperature setting and just ceramic plates.. my friends who use them complains of hair pulling experiences.

As for the GHD, I've heard that they don't have a heat temperature setting because it can detect the type of hair you have.. but i have never tried it.

Check out the websites below.Whats the best straightener?
a Chi. they are pricey but they work great. i have one and they litterally take 30 seconds to get hot and ready to straighten. aand i have natural wavy hair and it take 1-2 strokes to get it completly straight. for you maybe 3-4 but it is so worth around $200.

if you are searching within a price range then its either WetNDry or Wet2Dry.also with this one you can straighten damp hair and it helps especially if you have curly hair because then as you get out of the shower you can just dry your hair with your towel and then get to straightening. but it is pretty good i mean its not as good as the Chi but its really good for its price. im not sure how much it costs but i think that its no more probly less than $50. thats just an estimate but it will probly take 10 minutes for that one and it takes less thaan 2 minutes with the Chi so it deffinetly is worth the money specially if you are in a hurry to go somewhere quick and need to hurry. um so i would recomend the blue Chi nano.

Hope this helpped(:
I've heard wonderful things about the Chi.

I use some Bedhead one, it was like $70 at Target, it lights up, that's how you can identify it, haha, it has a name probably, but I don't know it, so if you see a Bedhead one in Target that lights up, you got it.

Last I checked, the Chi one was like $300, for me that automatically eliminates it as an option. I've been incredibly happy with mine, it keeps my hair straight as a pin all day, unless it rains):

my hair is not that curly but it is reeeeealy culy. a good straightner is le angelique i use it allllll the time and my hair comes out really straight . if you haven't straightened your hair before dont be suprised is that straight and still has curls. your hair probally isn't used to being straightened yet.
OMG do NOT i repeat do NOT get the chi. It doesnt have a heat setting for diffrent types of hair so you end up burning it! The sedu works great! I have it and i love it! I have the exact same hair as you do and i hate my hair. I used to have the conair but it sucked. So now i have the sedu. It is even used by celeberites!鈾?Go to Folica.com and type in Sedu. And take it from there.... hope this helps!! and oh yea get the one that says something like tourmanle ceramic. It ahs this pink sign right next to it that says something like best of folica.
I am a huge CHI fan. I have used them all, and this by far is the best straightener I have ever used. I use it all day everyday and it has never let me down. If you cannot afford a CHI, you can buy the generic version at sally beauty supply called the GVP. It works just as well.
if you don't mind paying the price i recommend:

BIOSILK 130$ CAD

CHI 145$ CAD

if you're on a tighter budget

Caruso Ceramic :) about 40$ CAD

I know what you mean :) I'm crazy curly :)

hope it helps :)
