What is the best straightener?

which straightner causes the least damage and makes hair shiny smooth and frizz free?

and if you say chi please tell me which one exactly. thanksWhat is the best straightener?
Chis are the best. It depends on the thickness of your hair, but honestly any ceramic flat iron will do it for you. In order not to damage your hair you need some kind of straightening serum or a thermal spray. Matrix biolage makes a thermo spray that is good but junks up the plates of the flat iron. I like John Freeda Friz-eeze straightening serum. What is the best straightener?
The Chi Iron is what I use in the salon. Chi Irons are put out by Farouck Systems and can be purchased at any Trade Secret store. The iron itself is ceramic and it evenly disperses heat thoughout the stem. Whenever you use any heated tool you should always use a heat protection spray. Personally, I use Matrix's Sleek Iron spray. It is applied directly to dry hair (only mist your hair DO NOT SATURATE) prior to flat iron use. Afterwards use a shine spray to seal the hair smooth.

It doesn't matter what brand it is just as long as it has titanium plates! They're really good especially if you have thick hair. They're more expensive than your typical hair straightener but that's because you're paying for quality! I have one myself and i couldn't ask for anything better!
