FHI straighteners when wet?

I got FHI straighteners for christmas, and it says on the box that they work best on damp hair. Does anyone know if this actually works, and that it won't damage my hair?FHI straighteners when wet?
i used to have these straighteners, and i used them once on damp hair and i found that it made my hair frizzy and dry.. i didnt like the sizzling sound so i stopped and never tried again!

im not sure if it damages your hair, well not any more than normal straightening does!!

i dont think it wouldnt say that you can on the box if it damaged your hair too much!

never used them but give it a go they won't damage your hair just stream dry...
I would never use a straightener on wet or damp hair.

Even the ones that are 'wet to dry'

They just fry your hair.
