Are steam straighteners better for your hair than regular hair straighteners?

Im getting one for Christmas and i dont want to damage my hairAre steam straighteners better for your hair than regular hair straighteners?
In truth no heat tool is good for your hair. Some are less damaging then others though.





Steam straighteners claim that they are gentle on the hair but the problem I found was that they do not straighten well and half an hour after I did my hair.. it was PUFFY !





Ceramic Straighteners is the way to go. Ceramic heats faster, holds heat longer and is not as hard on your hair.


Either way make sure you are using a heat protectant serum. I use Moroccan Oil.

Actually, They are worse for your hair. Have you ever put water on a hot stove and watch it sizzle away? Yeah. That's what those types of straighteners do to your hair. No matter how healthy they say it is.





You can't not damage your hair. Everything damages your hair, especially when you use heat and chemicals. Even with a heat protector, you will still damage your hair.
