Steam Straighteners?

Do they keep your hair as health as any other straightener? Do they work as good?Steam Straighteners?
i find GHDs to be the gods of hair straighteners.

steam straighteners are not as good and damage your hair also - they use metal plates where the better models will use ceramics instead.

at the end of the day tho - all heat will damage your hair regardless of the source - even ur hair dryerSteam Straighteners?
I have tried them at the salon, and wasn't that impressed, just for the fact that for what I do, it seemed to take longer to dry the hair with them, yes they did get the hair straight. But it seemed easier for me to dry the hair and then flat iron, I was able to get the hair straighter, but then remember I am standing behind your head and doing the styling. It may be easier for an individual person. Remember to still use a heat protective shine or spray when using either kind of straightener.
don't do it, i don't care what anyone says they are not healthier for your hair.. ALL straightening is bad for hair to some degree but steam doesn't make things better, it may or may not make it shiny afterward but your hair will be gross and damaged once you wash it again.

i used to have a steam straightener back in the day (when they were metal) and it sucked the life out of my hair...never again.

plus their designs suck its hard not to jerk the straightener and it leaves those little dents in your hair which is tres ugly.
they keep haior straighter longer, give it more shine, and are better for your hair than normal ones!! Good Luck!
My friend has the maxiglide and she says it doesnt damage her hair and it looks great when she straightens it. we would both recommend it
Thanks for asking! I have been wondering the same thing myself.
