I have curly hair, not THAT thick. And I was wondering what's the best hair straightener??The BEST straightener?
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.
To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.
For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.
It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.
Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?
Never use on wet hair.
Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:
71 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1228 total reviews.
Sedu:
24 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3812 total reviews.
That speaks for itself!
If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.
Take a look at this.

Note how CHI is number 7.
Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof! The BEST straightener?
I, too, have curly not that thick hair but somewhat frizzy. I went to Sally Beauty Supply and bought a middle of the road straightener and it works wonders in 25 min. My hair stays straight until I wash it again and looks unbelievable. It's so nice to finally have straight hair!
GHD's are the best hair straighteners I have ever used and have known all of my friends to use, I dont know where you are from but this straightener is used in all hair salons in the UK, it is expensive but really , i dont think you can get better! :) Hope this helps!
i think wavy hair and I have used alot of hair straighteners over the years. The best by far has been the GHD one. Its brilliant and gets my hair poker straight. They are expensive, or are here in Australia anyway, but worth the money. I have had mine for about 3 years now.
Well, I have a ';pro-select'; one. It's about $300, it works pretty good.
Also the Chi is about the same price, as well as quality.
The best I've heard of, to make your hair pin straight is the japaniese [sp?] straightner. But, it's like $400-500.
well; i heard CHI's are...but idk cause i never used it.
But i do use Bed Heads straightener. it lights up different colors depending on how high the temp. you use is.
and it works well for me.
its also cheaper than the CHI. i got it for 60.
The chi 1 inch or the Solia 1 inch ceramic is the best. You can find them both on www.folica.com.
They are pricy but worth it
Any kind of Chi is the best straightener ever! It works on all hair types and makes wonders!!
Chi or anything w/ ceramic plates
conair...
it doesnt burn your hair. :)
but either way make sure to use a heat protectant thing before you straighten it.
the CHI!!
