Does the conair steam straightener works?

I have thick and wavy hair, I want to replace my existing straightener and get a better one, I have a corioliss, but doens't work to well, Do you think the conair one is better? I saw the demonstration on the t.v. but I am not sure if believe or not. What do you think? Does it works?Does the conair steam straightener works?
