The best straightener in my opinion by far is the CHI. It is used by professionals in alot of hair salons. It heats up in 30 seconds and it helps bring the static our of your hair. You can purchse on on ebay for about 80-100 dollars. Buy the black 1'; straightener, it should say CHI in the silver circle where to two sides connect. Becarfeul for scammers. If the Straightener does not say CHI on the circle then it is a fake.

The Chi iron is the very best.
i would go for the CHI ceramic straightner, i paid under $150 for mine, its the best straightner ive ever had, very durable, ive dropped it so many times, heats up quick and leaves a smooth and shiny finish. i bought mine from jcpenney hairsalon. 70% of hairsalons use the CHI straightner.

CHI is by far the best. The one I have is 220$ and it's a flat iron but there are others cheaper. Make sure you get a flat iron though if you want really straight hair.
I have a maxiglide...that thing is the best...and I am black so straightening my hairs I had no problem.

The hairdresser can straigten hair as well as curl it. Comes out nice, got a friend that just did it. Price depends on length of hair. I think about $100 plus a nice tip!! As far as anything on the market...I wouldnt fool that, let an expert do it.
