What is the best straightener...?

i normally have very coarse, thick hair. it is curly and i don't like it very much. yesterday, i used my friends straightener and i loved my hair. however, she did not know the name of the straightener. if you know of any that are good tell me. thanks. What is the best straightener...?
I find GHD's very good. I have very thick hair and my hair is totally straight afterwards! They do not take along time to heat up or use either. =] Hope this helps. XWhat is the best straightener...?
Get you a Maxi glide girrrl. The reason it out performs the other basic flat irons is because it has a multitude of little tiny teeth that separates the strands of hair as it straigtens it, as opposed to just mashing the hair down. The Maxi glide heats up in a few minutes and I've seen it straighten out the most coarse hair. It will turn a complete afro into bone straight. Good luck
I've always heard that ceramic straighteners are best. Other than that, the products you use will help a lot. Look for products that will relax or are specifically made to help the straightening process.
Well there are CHI's, Sedu's and GHD's.

They are all on this site:

along with other kinds : )

good luck
i have a t3 and its really really good! it works really well and it only takes like 30 seconds to heat up. i really suggest it. :D
you can buy any brand...like conair, or chi, which works wonders, but is expensive! dont buy a flat iron under 30 bucks, it wont work well!
Ceramic plates work best. Try a Chi or a GHD.

Go to www.beautychoice.com for some good deals on flat irons.
I have a CHI and I really love it!
