lol I'm confused! A pair? Like of shoes? lol
I think your talking about hair straighteners.
I've used a lot of different ones, and the only two that work for me are
1) It's called like Straight as Silk or something and it was being sold in a booth in the middle of a mall for like $450
But that is WAY to expensive for me!
2) A CHI. My aunt got me one on discount or else I wouldn't have got it.
My hair is wavy and frizzy and thick and this straightener gets it PIN straight! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
It heats up quickly, gets hair super straight in one go and it's just PERFECT! Here is the one I have:

Just basic, not fancy, smancy. And I LOVE it!
Good luck! lolBest straighteners to buy?
Actually they are NOT all the same. Better plates cost more money. More expensive flat irons heat faster and damage the hair's cuticle less. Most professionals would tell you to buy a CHI flat iron. There are generic CHIs available at Sally's Beauty Supply which are almost as good. Also with smaller plates you can curl, flip and straighten with the same iron. There are many settings on different irons. CHIs only have one setting to prevent you from baking your hair, other irons can go up to 400 degrees fahrenheit or have three settings (low, medium, or high).
i dont have anyhing for cheaper.
but i have and FHI and i personally think its better than CHI
and the pink one goes towards breast cancer, its not only a good cause it also make your hair look naturally straight
and not clumpy and gross like other ones do
Their all the same the only difference is the brand name. Like Chi is what everybody has but it dosen't make it work any better.
i have tried may staighteners and have found chi to be the best. it is a very reasonable price and it works great.
