I have extremely coarse, thick, unruly, curly, and BIG hair. I am interested in getting a really good straightener that i can use a lot for a long time. There are so many kinds, these are ones i've heard of:
CHI
JOSE EBER
SEDU
TOURMALINE
CORIOLISS
SOLIA
if you could just tell me anything you know about any of these that'd be great! any comments/personal experiences or opinions on which is best, also where i can get them, thanks so much!Best straightener??? CHI? JOSE EBER? SEDU? SOLIA? CORIOLISS? more...?
The Solia definitely. Everyone is obsessed with the Chi, but it only goes up to 397 degrees I think. The Solia goes up to 450, so it shortens the straightening time, and heats up in under a minute. It takes me around 20 minutes to get my hair completely straight. And I have the same hair as you, and it's long too. I've had the Solia forever, and it works just as good as the day I bought it. Definitely Soliaa.
I've used the Chi before, and it was good, but to me the Solia was definitely better. It took less time to flat iron my hair, it got straighter, and it stays straight in gross humid weather. The Chi doesn't do that with my hair.

You can buy it from there. =)Best straightener??? CHI? JOSE EBER? SEDU? SOLIA? CORIOLISS? more...?
Chi and Wigo.I have a wigo,it was about 80 dollars only :) it works really well.
defffffinitely chi. i havent heard of any of the other brands you named but chi works for me. i definitely think the brand matters though, because i used to own a revlon one and when i compare those results with the ones i get now from my chi, the difference is definitely there. my hair is much more healthier and shinier now. also make sure to condition a lot and get a good straightening product to put in your hair prior to straightening, it makes all the difference.
you know,
you just described MY hair.
But it's really, very easy to straighten obviously with good straighteners that get VERY hot etc.
BUT even my straightner (which doubles as a curling iron)
Wasn't that expensive and it does a quality job, though I would still like an even better one.
I can recommend shopping online, even with the target website.
It really doesn't matter WHAT brand, you just want to be able to get a nice straight look obviously, but still maintain healthy hair.
Read the fine print is all I really recommend.
Make sure it's got nice ceramic plates (they keep your hair healthier)
It's not the name brand...it's the quality.
Revlon works just as well as any million dollar hair tool.
CHI- they are a little pricey but they are worth it!! not only does your hair feel oh-so-silky-smooth but also the straightner lasts FOREVER! ive had other straightners that after 6 months went out. but the chi just keeps going!!! you can buy one at amazon.
Pretty much any straightener thats expensive! For more advice email at TeresaKnosBetter@aol.com Tell you friends!! Thanks!
Teresa
the best i use is called babyliss and its blue. it is a little pricey. i paid mine 130 dollars but it kept it straight and frizz free all day. even in humid weather.
