What is the best straightener/curler?

i heard that ghd is great. but i don't want to order online. any suggestions? and if i do get ghd, is it worth it?What is the best straightener/curler?
Definitely go with a ceramic one. The metal ones dry out your hair too much. I've had a ';Hot Tools'; one and a ';Hai 2'; one. I like them both and there isn't much difference aside from the side of the ceramic plates...the Hai 2 has larger plates. The Hai 2 was about 80 dollars and my Hot Tools straightener was 40.What is the best straightener/curler?
I think you must go for this one ';ThermaCELL庐 Curling Iron or Straightening Iron';.Its the best of the best .Since i am using it ,its a great product you can buy .Product Description

I think the best flat iron is the Sedu flat iron. It works very fast and leaves your hair as smooth and silky as can be. Good luck!
I took a look at it and it looks ok to use. What I look for in a hair straightener/curler is that the cord will not ';wind-up'; on me, there's protection on the sides and tip from burning me or my arm. I'm one that had to use my free hand to guide the end othe iron so I need protection. You also want to be able to adjust the heat. Too much heat for blonds is bad...to little will make curly hair revert when it gets damp. Be sure there is a good temp conrol dial. Other than that...I look for cheap ;-). I've found many irons - the cheaper the better and easier to use.
Without a doubt the best and most popular hair straightener / curler / styler on the market is the one produced by GHD.

The new Mark 4 GHD styler heats up to ridiculous temperatures, straightens hair in one stroke, almost without fail and comes with a two year warranty.

They have new safety features, are dual voltage so you can use them anywhere in the world ( as long as they have electricity) and the company isnt likey to disappear overnight.

GHD Are used by nearly every top salon in the uk. See how many are using other brands and for every one there are 100 using GHD. WHy because they do what they claim. and the do it everytime.

The sites below sell them for various prices and have lots of good offers. there are lots more though. try a ghd search on google. shop around and get the best deal, but avoid ebay, you might get sold mk3's and they arent as good as mark 4 model
royale you can get one by mail i got mine in orland illinois at the mall the number is 1-800-965-0302 or visit royalbeauty-ss.com

P.s my hair never curls usually but the lady demonstrated in me and my moms hair (my hair was really nappy that day) and it really worked...
try the Solia. I love it!!! I bought it at Folica.com. It cost about $85 with free shipping. You can also read the reviews on all of the flat irons that they carry to help in your decision.
I've never heard of ghd, but make sure whatever you decide on has ceramic plates, and has an actual thermostat instead of just numbers. You want to make sure you're not getting it too hot for what your hair can handle, or you could end up burning it right off!

This is the best flat iron I have ever used in my life, and I assure you it is well worth the money.
i would say the chi cuz i just did mi friends hair for her and i have naturally straight hair so im not sure!!!
I have EXTREMELY curly hair, and I have found that the CHI flat iron works best. I have been using mine for about 2 and 1/2 years, and my hair is still healthy and doesn't frizz. Even though it is a little pricey (about $112), in my opinion it is well worth it for straight hair. Beauty supply stores in my area carry them, and I got mine at a discounted price because my hairstylist bought it from a member's only store.
Unfortuanely I use the cheapies, but I have always wanted a maxiglide. It isn't suppose to damage your hair at all, and work wonders on all hair types. Customer reviews on that type is stellar. Me I just buy a $20 all in one...LOL. I just use lots of hair medicine...LOL.
None! But if you insist, a ceramic one
don't know what ghd is. but the best flat iron i know of is the CHI flat iron (it is ceramic). you can use it to straighten AND to curl.

it is usually only available to hair stylists, at least in my area, but surprisingly i have seen it at JC Penny's in the hair area.

it is expensive, around 100 and something bucks, but it is worth the money. i have it, my hair stylist gave me one as a present. best present ever. i have thick coarse frizzy curly hair and it comes out really well when i straighten it. it leaves my hair shiny and very soft. people love my hair! i let my aunt use it and she loved it too. she does not have coarse curly thick hair like i do, her hair is wavy-straight (oxymoron, i know but idk how to describe it), and thin and her hair was just fine.

not only does it leave your hair looking REALLY nice, but it only takes a few seconds to heat up. i had a flat iron that seriously took like 5 minutes to be ready. not very good for when i was in a freakin rush. :-O

make sure that whenever you use ANY flat iron that BEFORE you use it on your hair, put a napkin in between it. if it comes out yellow it is too hot for your hair and it will burn it. just sayin.

this is it:
