Best straightener and why?

I'm currently trying to find the best straightener for thick curly hair (I'm Caucasian if it helps.) I currently have a Suntachi which works okay, but I'm sure there's a better one out there. I've read a lot of reviews about the Chi, but people either really like it or absolutely hate it. I've also seen very good reviews about the Ozon and the Solia. So which one works best in your opinion?Best straightener and why?
My favorite is CHI, because its cheaper and very good working tool.

My best is GHD, works very good But bit high price.

Personally, i dont like the CHI. i was going to buy one, until i read about how they damage your hair a lot and break easily. I would buy a GHD. they do little damage, dont break easily, and can straighten, curl, waves, and do flicks. you can read more about them at www.ghdhair.com they are the #1 selling flat iron in europe and are rated one of the highest proffesional flat irons. THEYRE GREAT! i have very thick, frizy, wavy hair, and it gets my hair flat in about 10 minutes max.
i LOVEEEEEEEE the chi !

i have the thickest curliest hair in the world, and it takes about 20 minutes to make it pin straight and flat, i also love that it works as a curling iron too. you can really do any style with it. i love it %26lt;3
chi all the way. works perfectly, best straightener out there. works well, doesnt break, and easy to put somewhere.
I also would go with the chi!! i did my hair 2 days ago and its still straighter then heck!!

unfortunetly i own a wet to straight from remington, but its good too.
