Hi everyone! I have naturally, extremely curly hair. I have very tight spirals. The straighteners that I've used in the past do not keep it straight if it's humid outside, or if there's any moisture in the air. If I get sweaty, forget it, it gets horribly frizzy. It's really quite the headache. I blow dry it as straight as I can get it, then have to straighten it with an iron to get all the frizz out, and in hopes of keeping it straight. So what straightener would work best, and keep my hair straight no matter the humidity, moisture, or if I sweat? Price is not an issue. I've heard Chi is the best, and also Sedu. Any experience or advice is much appreciated. Thanks a ton ladies, and happy holidays! What in the world would be the best straightener for my hair?
It's not really the straightener that may be the problem, but what I have to use is this stuff I got at sally's beauty supplies.. It says right on the bottle to protect hair and it doesn't make my hair frizz! I don't think you have to buy the exact same stuff, just something to put on your hair so it doesn't damage it! :) much love! What in the world would be the best straightener for my hair?
I feel your pain. I use a Chi, and have for several years. It dosen't seem to hold the straightness in my hair, I live in Texas and it's extremley hot. The only way it stay straight is if I put sprits of Aussie Frizz Control spray in my hair, and then I have straight hair all day. But, I'm going to get a Solia hair straightner during Christmas. My friend has it, and it works, it gets so much more hotter than the Chi, and I don't need dandruff-causing styling products, either. Plus, it sells for about $70. Hope I helped! [=
Well, my auntie has very curly hair and hers now looks sooo straight. Here's how:
She dries her hair with the babyliss straighten as you dry, and she uses heat protection and straightening serum
She then puts more heat protection on her hair and then straightens it with the ghd wide plates. Hope this helps xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
