i use one called wet 2 straight and it's made by remington. (you don't really have to wet your hair lol) it works soo good. and it beeps when it heats up all the way which only takes about 2 minutes depending on what setting you use. you can heat it up to whatever level you want. the levels go up to 30. i only put mine up anywhere from 12-14. i think it's $30. it's not the cheapest but not the most expensive. i bought it at sears but you could probably find it somewhere else. good luck heres a link

the chii is like the best
chi is probably the best. but you can find really good ones around $50-$80 on folica.com
CONAIR is cheap and best. CHI is good but costly
Chi
The Chi is the best, easily. But if you aren't going to pay for a Chi, try a Conair ceramic one. That's what I have, and it makes my hair less.... poofy than it usually is. I love it.

My mom has an Infiniti from Conair that she absolutely adores. It's a hair dryer, but it has a bunch of attatchments that go on it, and one of them is a straightener. You attatch the straightener onto the dryer, and you dry your hair and straighten it at the same time, it's pretty cool. And the best part is, it actually works!
The CHI is the best one there is, you can buy one really cheap on ebay.
I have a Revlon, and I love it. I gets my curly hair straight very fast. I costs about $25.00 so that is very reasonable. The full name is a Revlon Hair Appliances Professional Ceramic Straightener, Model RV045C. You can buy this at any store (Target,Walmart, Shopko, and more!) I would recommend this to anyone! Hope this help you maybe....
CHI...but you have to be willing to pay the price for it!
Chi works really good but its more on the expensive side.
I love the CHI straightners, but on a budget... the Conair Ceramic series is AMAZING.

Target.
Remington Wet 2 Straight is amazinngggg. I used to have this blue conair one tht was just horrible for my hair. then i got hte remington and was satisified with it's results. it takes me about 20 minutes to straighten my unmanagable curly hair. It does dry out your hair too! Just make sure you use some protectant spray to make your hair even shinier. Mine was about 30 dollars. i got it at bed bath and beyond. you should really get it its amazing. Also, if you leave it on for an hour it will automatically turn itself off! I thought that was pretty cool.
well yeah Chi is amazing but extremely EXPENSIVE. i got Conair infinity and it was baout 50 dollars and heats up in about 30 seconds and works amazingly for me
chi is awesome
Target or walmart have a great supply of Chi and Conair that r super inexpensive and totally work!!

hope i helped!!
