Your not going to find a quality straightner for that price, Ive tried all different ones and straighning my hair with a 30 dollar iron would be the reson I had to cut 8 inches off my hair. If you want straighter that wont fry your ends invest in a Chi.
Go to Wallgreens [how ever you spell it] and they have a ton of hair irons!

I got this red Conair Wet to Straight straightener for about $22 at Walgreens and it works really well.
Wet to Straight, I think it's the best. I got it from Target. (:
