Best straightener for curly hair?

I have really, really curly hair. Like.. it takes me 1 hour to straighten my hair. I used to straighten it often in high school, but now I am lazy and in college and just wear it curly. I am starting to get sick of my hair curly and want to straighten it sometimes now. What's the best straightener out there? Back in high school it was Hot Tools. I know it's supposedly CHI now, but is it worth the money? What's the best straightener for the best price?Best straightener for curly hair?
My cousin uses the Paul Mitchell straightener. It cost her about $200, I think. Don't hold me to it. For my daughter, who has curly frizzy hair, I use a $20 one from Walmart. I make sure to use plenty of conditioner on her hair when I do straighten it, just so it won't damage her hair.

The Paul Mitchell straightener, though, has ceramic tiles, so it keeps from frying your hair. And it gets super hot, so it only takes on attempt to straighten.Best straightener for curly hair?

a CHI is definately worth it! i just got one for graduateing, and its amazing, i have really curly hair , and in just a few swipes, its straight!
CHI straighteners do ROCK!

They are worth the money and have a warranty (as long as you keep the box), they will replace it if anything happens to it, plus it works the BEST!!

I have tried other kinds and this one is the best for the buck.

One other I had good luck with but is not as good as CHI and may not be good enough for your curly locks is an ION, with ceramic plate, it only cost about 70.00 and worked well too for me but again my hair may not be as curly as yours.

Remember to protect your hair before you iron it!!

Good Luck!

get a Ceramic Flat Iron...its the best hair straightener out there...you can find one at ur local beauty supply store.

Use the conair one with the built in brush. The brush will defriss the curls and really straighten it. Also the thicker the straightener the better.
well, this may be an off brand, but it's an AWSOME straightener! Jilb`ere de paris!! It is AWSOME, you can probably get it at your local Sally's Beauty Supply, that's where I got mine!
I am not sure about what is the best straightener, but.... If you buy anything from Walmart and don't like it, you have 90 days to return it. I buy all my stuff from there. I try it and if I don't like it, I return it. Just keep the receipt. Also I think it's con-air that has the wet to dry flat iron. I used it and loved it. About 35 to 50 bucks
