What are the best straighteners i should use?

hi,i have thick hair and am naturally curly,i want some new straighteners but don,t want to pay loads,i am thinking of buying the wet to straight ones but unsure in case they ain,t that good and what is the best make? What are the best straighteners i should use?
GHDs every time, worth every penny, tried cheaper ones first and they were nowhere near as good esp if you have curly hair.

Wouldn't touch the wet to straight ones, if my hair is even slightly damp when straightening it smells awful of burning so god knows what fully wet hair would smell like,What are the best straighteners i should use?
GHD's quite expensive but you could look on ebay you may find them for cheaper or go into a local salon they are always updating their hair straightners and they may well sell them to you at a fraction of the cost
GHD's they r expensive though

remmington are pretty good though just go for the highest heat. :o)

wet to straight can really damage your hair!

ghd are the best on the market
GHDs, they're quite expensive but well worth it! dont know what id do without mine
the thick GHD's n if yoo u use th GHD spray before dryin yoor hair, it will straighten easier n doesnt split any ends!
Like everyone else here. GHD. my hair is like yours.....a bloody pain in the butt, but with ghd its silky smooth and i love it. Its the best 拢100 i have ever spent on myself. i will always own a pair until my dying day!!!
GHDs without a doubt...

there about 拢90.... so dont know if your looking in paying that much..

they are the best straightners around though and well worth the money!!

Iv had cheaper ones.. and they have worked but made my hair go really dry and split the ends...

hope this helps x
I have think hair too that doesnt straighten with ghds but i used

Remmington wet to straight now normally they are really expensive

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Remington-S8200-鈥?/a>

but look there and they are 30 quid its ok price and they do really work
Wet to straight are a waste of time I slung mine in the bin. Save your hard earned pennies and get some good old GHD's and don't forget to use a thermal protector.
my hair sounds like yours, jhd wins hands down Ive had loads of different makes and now i wouldn't buy any other, they cost a fair bit but once its straightened it last until your hair needs washing worth every penny
My daughter insists on using GHD apparently everyone thinks theyr'e good

I think Ghd are the best straightners on the market, they are expensive with a starting price of approximately 拢80, however they are so worth saving up for.
If you want your hair to look good, dont worry about the money side just use GHD straighteners
i think you got your answer ghds but becareful they are very hot if you have used straightners before you need to keep going over your hair with these you dont can cause breakage if used to much always use a protective spay and use serum after to tame the frizz good luck my daughters have afro hair we understand fully the wet to dry dont work i am a hairdresser and we use the therm a glass ones at the moment around 40 pounds work for us but dont waste your money on cheaper ones
hi. im a hairdresser and without a doubt...ghd they are the the pro choice, they maintain a higher temp and your hair will stay straighter for longer, i know they are expensive but believe me they are worth it and you will not regret buying them,if you buy cheaper ones all you will do is go over your hair more times(not good)and it will snap off! just bite the bullet, honest you wont regret,i promise
GHD
My daughter has thick, very curly hair and the GHD's work really well for her. The more time you take by working on small sections of hair the better and longer it lasts. This is good as you shouldn't straighten too often as it will affect your hair.
Defo, Ghd they straighten your hair dead good and it lasts coz my hair is well thick and they are the only straightners that straightin my hair iron flat.

Hope dis helps!!!
GHDs all the way...

They are slightly more expensive but well worth it. The others i tried (believe me there was a lot) Just frizzed my hair %26amp; broke it. As long as you use a hair protecter GHDs are the only way forward.
get a CHI straightening iron. they are on the expensive side but probably the best you can buy. plus, they come in loads of fun colors!
