Best straightener for medium thick hair (NOT a flat iron)?

I already have a flat iron but I want some of that stuff that you put in your hair before you used the flat iron to keep it straight longer.





What works the best especially in humidity? I live in Florida so my hair hair just goes back to curling/waving and it's really annoying. :|

I assume that you are referring to a thermal styling spray. Matrix Sleek Looks makes a great one and Kenra Platinum Hot Spray is amazing, my clients call it my magic spray! Then spray it all over with an aresol hair spray to help keep the moisture out of the hair shaft. Serums and creams can work, but sprays create a better coat around the hair shaft, which is important when you live in a place with high humidity. But this tends to make your hair stiff. If you are looking to avoid that for softer hair, go ahead and try a serum after the thermal styling spray.Best straightener for medium thick hair (NOT a flat iron)?
